A smart home done right is not a pile of apps. A Control4 controller ties the systems you already have, and the ones we add, into one interface:

• Lighting: scenes, schedules, and keypads in place of banks of switches, with Lutron or Control4 lighting.
• Climate: smart thermostats with schedules, away modes, and alerts.
• Audio and video: every TV and every music zone, indoors and out, on one remote and one app.

• Locks, garage doors, and gates: see who came and went, let a visitor in remotely.

Automation is also a safety layer, and this is where one platform earns its keep. When the alarm triggers, the house can bring every light to full. When you set an away mode, lighting mimics your normal evening pattern so the house never looks empty. If a door unlocks after midnight, you know about it. For seasonal residents who spend summers out of state, remote access plus alerts means the house is never truly unattended.

• Single-room start: one controller, one great remote, and your main TV and audio simplified. The foundation is in place to grow.
• Core smart home: whole-home control of lighting in the main living areas, climate, two or three AV zones, and a network that can carry it.
• Whole-home integration: lighting throughout, shades, multi-zone AV, security integration, and keypads and touchscreens where they make sense. Most common on new builds and full remodels.

Control4 is the core platform. Around it we install Lutron lighting and shades, Episode audio, Luma cameras, Qolsys security panels, Araknis networking, WattBox power management, and SunBrite outdoor TVs, drawing on the broader Snap One catalog where the project calls for it.

East Valley homes bring specific considerations, and we design for them: block construction that eats WiFi (a wired backbone fixes what mesh systems mask), monsoon-season power problems (WattBox surge protection and remote reboot for the equipment rack), summer heat (equipment placement and ventilation so electronics survive a garage or closet), and outdoor living (audio and video rated for patios that get real sun).

• Design consultation: we walk the home or the plans and scope what you actually want to live with.
• Fixed proposal: line-item scope, signed by an owner. No mystery allowances.
