Episode Dealer and Installer

Hybryd Systems installs Episode speakers and amplifiers as the backbone of whole home audio in most of the systems we build, in-ceiling and in-wall speakers driven by amps in the rack rather than a speaker left out on a shelf.

What does Episode do well?

Episode covers the full range a whole home audio system needs from one lineup: in-ceiling and in-wall speakers for everyday rooms, outdoor and landscape speakers for a patio, subwoofers for a media room, and multi-channel amplifiers built to drive many zones off one rack instead of a separate amp per room. Because one amplifier platform drives the whole house, volume and tone stay consistent from room to room instead of sounding different depending on which speaker line happens to be installed there. Episode is priced to make a genuinely multi-room system practical, rather than something only a media room and one other room can afford.

What does Hybryd install with Episode?

Episode speakers go into ceilings and walls, wired back to amplifiers in the rack, with each room set up as its own zone that Control4 can control independently, its own source, its own volume, its own on and off. A "Movie Night" scene can duck background music in the kitchen while the theater takes over, and a "Goodnight" scene can shut every zone off from one button by the bed. Because it is wired during structured wiring rather than added later, there is nothing sitting out in the room, no speaker on a shelf, no visible wire, just sound coming from the ceiling or wall.

Sound for how the Valley lives outside

A patio, pool deck, or outdoor kitchen functions as another room of the house for most of the year here, and Episode's outdoor and landscape speakers extend the same system out there instead of leaving the backyard silent or stuck with a bluetooth speaker. On new construction, we run that speaker wire during structured wiring, before stucco and landscaping go in, so outdoor zones are built in from the start. On an existing home, we add outdoor zones where attic and exterior access allow it, without opening up finished walls.

Services That Use Episode

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Control4 to use Episode speakers?

No. Episode audio can run on its own, though most Hybryd customers control it through Control4 alongside lighting, climate, and everything else in the house.

Can Episode speakers go outside on a patio or by the pool?

Yes. Episode makes outdoor and landscape speakers built to handle weather, and Hybryd wires them in as their own zone alongside the indoor rooms.

How many rooms can an Episode system cover?

As many as a customer wants. Episode amplifiers are built to drive many zones off one rack, so a whole home system with every room covered is a normal setup, not an exception.

Can I add more zones later if I only do a few rooms now?

Yes. Starting with a few rooms and adding more zones later is common, since the amplifier platform and wiring are built to expand.
