Paxton Installer

Hybryd Systems installs Paxton Net2 access control for commercial buildings across the greater Phoenix area, wiring the doors, readers, and controllers and setting up the software that manages them.

What does Paxton do well?

Net2 gives a building manager one piece of software to see and control every door on the system: who has access, when they can use it, and a log of who came through and when. Doors can run on their own schedule, so a front entrance unlocks during business hours while a server room or storage area stays locked to everyone except the people who need it. Adding a user is a few clicks in the software instead of cutting a new key, and removing access when someone leaves is just as fast, which matters for a commercial landlord managing tenant turnover. It also scales from a single small office to a multi-door, multi-tenant building without changing platforms.

What does Hybryd install with Paxton?

We run the low-voltage wiring to each door, install the readers and door controllers, and set the system up on the building's network so it can be managed from the property office or remotely. During commissioning we build out the door schedules, user list, and access levels with the property manager, so the system matches how the building is actually used from day one, not a generic default. Where the building also has cameras, we tie the access events into the camera view so a door open and a recorded image line up. For a multi-tenant commercial building, we set it up so each tenant space can be managed on its own schedule and user list without touching the rest of the building.

Built for growing commercial and new construction

A lot of the commercial growth in Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, and the East Valley is new construction or a tenant improvement project, and Paxton fits well into either one. On new construction we run the door and reader wiring during structured wiring, before walls close up, so there is no surface conduit later. On a tenant improvement, we can add Paxton to an existing building's network and bring individual suites onto access control without rewiring doors the landlord already has covered. For a GC or property manager coordinating a build-out on a schedule, a wired access control plan set early avoids the change orders that come from adding security after the walls are already painted.

Services That Use Paxton

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we add or remove a door later?

Yes. Net2 is built to grow with the building, so adding a reader on a new door is a matter of running wire and adding it to the software, not replacing the system.

Do we need cards, or can we use phones?

Paxton supports cards, fobs, and mobile credentials, so a building can use whichever fits its tenants, or a mix of both.

Can different tenants in the same building be managed separately?

Yes. Each tenant space can run its own schedule and user list within the same system, without one tenant's access affecting another's.

Does Paxton connect to our cameras?

Where the building has cameras installed, we tie access events to the camera view so a door opening and a recorded image are easy to line up.
