What does Sicunet do well?

Because Sicunet runs over standard IP networking, adding a door or a building to the system does not require a separate proprietary wiring run back to a central panel the way older access control does. A property manager gets one system to manage users, schedules, and door activity across a building, or across several buildings on the same property, from a single piece of software. Doors can be set to unlock on a schedule, stay locked to everyone but a short list of people, or trigger an alert if one is forced or held open too long. For a commercial building with multiple tenants or multiple entrances, that flexibility means the system fits how the building actually operates rather than the other way around.

What does Hybryd install with Sicunet?

We run the wiring to each door, mount the readers and controllers, and put the system on the building's network alongside everything else we manage there, rather than as a separate isolated system. During setup we build the door schedules and user list with the property manager or GC so the system reflects how the building is staffed and used, not a default template. Where the property also has Hybryd-installed cameras, we position cameras to cover the main entries so an access event has a matching video record. For a building with more than one entrance or more than one tenant, we set the controllers up so each door and each group of users can be managed on its own without affecting the rest of the system.

A fit for new commercial construction

Commercial building in the East Valley, from Mesa and Gilbert out to Queen Creek, is often ground-up construction or a tenant build-out with a GC on a tight schedule. Running Sicunet's door and reader wiring during structured wiring, while walls are still open, keeps the access control install on the same timeline as the rest of the building's low-voltage work instead of a separate trade coming back later. Because the system rides the building's IP network, there is also less separate cabling to plan for compared to older panel-based access control. For a property manager taking over a newly built or renovated commercial space, that means access control that was designed in from the start rather than added as an afterthought.
