Block and stucco construction is the usual culprit. Masonry walls that keep the heat out also stop WiFi cold, which is why a single router (or a mesh kit relaying through those same walls) leaves dead zones in East Valley floor plans. The fix is architectural, not another gadget: wire the backbone, then place multiple access points so every area gets a strong signal from something nearby.

A 1,800 square foot single-story needs a very different design than a 5,500 square foot two-story with a casita and a pool. We design from the floor plan: construction type, square footage, device count (a modern smart home easily carries 50 to 100 connected devices), and where you actually sit with a laptop.
