Lighting Control and Motorized Shades

Hybryd Systems designs and installs Lutron and Control4 lighting control and motorized shades for homes in Mesa and across the East Valley. Scenes replace banks of switches, schedules follow the sun, and shades manage the one thing Arizona has too much of: direct sunlight.

• Scenes: one button for "Entertain", "Cooking", "Movie", or "Goodnight" instead of walking a wall of dimmers.
• Schedules: exterior lights that follow sunset year round on an astronomic clock, pathway lighting that meets you at 5 am, everything off at midnight.
• Away modes: lighting that mimics your lived-in pattern while you travel, which for seasonal residents means the house never advertises an empty summer.
• Keypads: engraved buttons where switch banks used to be, which is the difference between a smart house and a house full of apps.
• Dimming everywhere: longer fixture life, better rooms, lower energy use.

Sun control is climate control here. West-facing glass in an East Valley home is a heat problem every afternoon, and motorized shades deal with it automatically: tracking the sun through the day, dropping before the afternoon load hits, protecting floors and furniture from UV, and opening back up for the evening. Options range from light-filtering solar shades that keep the view to blackout shades for bedrooms and theaters. Shades join the same scenes as the lights, so "Movie" dims the room and drops the shades in one press.

• Existing homes: wireless dimmers and keypads (Lutron and Control4) install in place of your current switches, no rewiring. Battery and wired shade options fit existing windows.
• New builds and remodels: panelized or centralized lighting, low-voltage keypad wiring, and shade power at the headers, all designed before drywall. This is the moment shades and lighting get dramatically cheaper to do right; our prewire page covers it.

Lutron lighting and shades, and Control4 native lighting, are the core. We also install Crestron motorized shades. Both integrate fully with a Control4 smart home, or stand alone.
