ButterflyMX Installer

Hybryd Systems installs ButterflyMX video intercom and access control for multifamily and commercial properties across the greater Phoenix area, giving residents and staff smartphone-based entry instead of a physical key or fob.

What does ButterflyMX do well?

ButterflyMX turns a building's front door into something a resident can answer from anywhere, not just from a handset in their unit. A visitor taps a name at the panel, the resident's phone rings with video and audio, and a tap unlocks the door, all without a physical key or a landline behind the panel. Property staff manage the resident directory, delivery access, and visitor logs from a browser instead of reprogramming a physical panel or handing out new fobs. For a property manager, that means fewer service calls for lost keys and a clear record of who came and went, which matters for HOA boards and commercial landlords alike.

What does Hybryd install with ButterflyMX?

We run the wiring and network drop for the ButterflyMX panel as part of the building's structured cabling, mount the panel at the entry, and set up the resident directory and delivery PINs during commissioning. The panel sits on its own segment of the property's network, built on the same Araknis backbone we run for the rest of the site, so it stays reliable even as more devices get added. On properties that also have Hybryd-installed cameras, we position a camera to cover the entry so staff and residents have a video record of who used the panel, not just a call log. For commercial buildings, we coordinate the entry system with whatever access control is already on the doors so tenants and guests move through the building the way the property manager expects.

Built for gated communities and busy entries

Gated and multifamily communities are common across Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, and the rest of the Valley, and a lobby or gate entry sits outside in full sun most of the year. We mount and wire the panel so it holds up to that exposure and stays on a stable network connection, not a WiFi bridge that drops when the property's guest traffic spikes. For an HOA board or property manager running a community with dozens or hundreds of units, a system residents can use from their own phone cuts down on lost fobs, rekeying costs, and the constant turnover of lists at a manned gate. It also gives management a searchable record of entries, which is useful when a resident disputes a delivery or a visitor.

Services That Use ButterflyMX

Frequently Asked Questions

Does ButterflyMX need a phone line?

No. It runs over the network we install for it and calls the resident's smartphone directly, so there is no landline or analog phone line behind the panel.

Can a resident let a visitor in from anywhere, not just from home?

Yes. The call goes to the resident's phone over the internet, so they can see the visitor and unlock the door from work, from the store, or from another state.

Does it work for package deliveries?

Yes. Property staff can set up delivery access so common carriers can get into a building or mail room without calling a resident for every package.

Can ButterflyMX tie into building cameras?

Yes. When cameras are already installed at the property, we position one to cover the entry panel so there is a video record alongside the call log.
